how to change the oil pump gears

i have a supercharged 3800 the oil pressure dropped and the noise started knocking but there are no metal shavings in oil so i think itmight just be cause the was no getting up to the motor.. but im not shure what i have to do to get to the gears in the oil pump if you could help me out i would deeply appreciate it thank you

with the knocking, it may be too late. the bearings have been damaged and most likely need to be replaced.
