Basically,while I'm driving,my car revs up to about 5 im over due for an oilichange as well as a filter

Explain what is happening with your vehicle. You press on the gas pedal and with the shifter in drive the engine just revs? If this is the case, follow the owner's manual on how to check the transmission fluid level to make sure it is where it needs to be.
