battery replacement

1996 Buick Century - replaced battery - alarm keeps going off - disconnect battery, turn key to on position - reconnect battery - no alarm - also starter will not crank - what needs to be done?

Have an after market system if don’t have the remote for it
Look under dash driver side for a switch (push on / off or toggle on/off)
Turn ignition key on and cycle under dash switch start engine
If have a security light on pass system is at fault
