When turning the steering wheel on my '96 BMW 328i Sedan, especially when making a hard turn, I hear a repetitive clicking noise. The sound reminds me of the noise you hear when a playing card is held against the spokes of a spinning bicycle wheel - a plucking/clicking sound. This happens intermittently, but it seems to be happening more frequently lately. Please advise. Thanks!

Noise is difficult to diagnose from cyberspace, I recommend a safety inspection straightaway
