1996 Audi A6 windshield washer quit spraying

I have a 1996 Audi A6, 145,000 miles; recently the windshield washer quit spraying on the windshield. The headlight washers will spray when the lights are on, but the windshield sprayers won't spray.

There are separate pumps for the head lamps and for the windshield. The pump for the windshield is perhaps in need of replacement. Look for the reservoir for the washer fluid and determine witch pump has failed.
