when I switch on dash vent I can smell petrol fumes even when I switch the vent off you can still smell it.

Looked under the bonnet and checked the hose and pipes and I can't smell or see anything leaking.But haven't checked underneath.where would be the obvious place to see where it's leaking.

Another thing you can do is add fuel leak dye to the fuel and use a dye light to find the leak.
