they really don't give instructions for valve cover, but take off the 3 bolts that are in the arrows then the cover should come up. you'll need to move all lines as well asbracketry first though if any in theway remove teh old gasket and scrape areas clean install new gasket use 3m 8001 (yellow) cement if need to hold gasket in place and tighten bolts to 106 inchpounds.

It is bolted to the firewall and if you follow the fuel line from the fuel rail, you should be able to see it.

Head gasket problems would have overheating and loss of coolant issues. Don't expect oil to get to the cooling system or vice versa, they do happen but seldom, unless the problem had been there for quite some time.

Oil change is 4.5 quarts with filter. You have slightly overfilled it but it is nothing to lose sleep over.

That would depend on what is wrong. It could be a fuse, a faulty switch, wiring, actuators or control unit.

You would need to remove the transmission and the procedures are not easy for DIY. Unless you have a hoist, if not, it wuold be really difficult to handle this job.

Such noises are usually from dried out ball joints. Check the upper and lower arms joints and steering tie-rod rack ends etc for torn boots.
