couldn't push on the gas

I was driving my car and all of a sudden I couldn't push on the gas it did not cut off but now when I put it in gear it just makes a load noise. Car is making a weird noise when in gear wont drive but will start. Do you think it is the transmission or drive shaft gears problem?

have you check trans fluid level? any noises prior to this happening?

Have the transmission further checked-How's the transmission fluid level and condition?

Thanks for quick response and no, I havent had any problems before this happened, and yes I check the trans fluid as well, even put some in, still no movement, just weird noise. In park its really loud and other gears lighter sounds.

my acura tl was doing the same thing and i had to get my transmission replace
