The connection between the Radiator & the hose from the anti-freeze container seems to be leaking. We tightened the clamp & It really started to leak. Car is a 1995 Volvo in good condition.

Chances are the hose itself is cracked. With the engine cold, remove and inspect the hose. Let me know what you find.

Could it be the Rad itself? My husband is wondering if where the hose connects to the piece that comes out of the rad could be broken?

You can remove hose from radiator without doing any harm. Then you will discover what is causing leak. If in doubt replace hose. Or cut some off and reattach and try again. New clamp may be needed if old 1 is distorted/damaged. Sometimes too tight clamp can cut hose. There's hardly any pressure at that connection.

It could be cracked. But as mentioned, remove the hose first to check.
