how to remove the clutch cable from the clutch peddle

ive all ready removed it from near the trany but cant get it out of the peddle

the clip holds the cable in and shold be pushed then moved eitehr forward or backward to get cable off pedal assy.

I know this is an old post....

The above image is for a "hydraulic" clutch operation/pedal... and does not apply to the question.

The cable is attached to the pedal via a slot fit. To make it easier to see, remove the instrument
cluster and have a look at the cable/pedal components from the top.

While reaching through the open cluster area, you should be able to manouver the cable out
of its seat in the pedal.... move the pedal at the same time to aid in removal & install.
