I tried to replace the water pump on my 1995 Tacoma 3.4L. I couldn't get the crank pulley off so I put everything back together now it won't start. I got a code for camshaft location sensor circuit malfunction. Replaced the sensor and that cleared the code but truck still won't start. It will idle very rough like a high performance cam for a few seconds, backfire and die. Truck ran before I started this and the timing marks line up. Can you help?

It just may be a case of dirty plugs, give them a clean check for any vacuum leaks and re check that the cam timing is correct, it should be something simple.
