engine smeels and feels hot temp gauge reads normal after long drive radiator starts to make noise and overflows to resouver is the cooling fan (elec) the problem

does the fan work??

you say the temp is normal???

have a leak down test performed to verify the head gaskets. check the thermostat as well.
