When coasting to a stop or rolling at low speed less than 10kph, there is a metallic knocking sound. Sounds like center or rear of car. Only occurs after car has been running for a while. Noise immediately stops upon acceleration. No other issues changing gears. Noise increases with clutch in. Noise seems to significantly decrease when in first gear, but not in other gears. Can feel it through shift lever, but very faintly. Car has new suspension all round. New uni joint. Complete new exhaust system. 1.6l engine, manual 4 wheel drive, hubs in free. Thanks for your time.

G16b 16v engine. Haven't checked trouble codes warning lights or check lights active. Found the problem with my first post. It cut off where I used a Less Than symbol.

This just needs to be put on a lift and inspected. You could be talking about a lot of different types of noises. They need to inspect the drive train including the driveshaft, transmission, suspension, wheel bearings and differential
