I just had new brakes put on and 30 minutes later my brakes lockup. Wht would cause that to happen?

The brakes locked and my car spinned around in the middle of the street. Drove off tha road and ran up on the sidewalk

Inspect the calipers , wheel cylinders/brake hose and shoes and brake master cylinder
