my all wheel drive has quit working, about a year ago my drive shaft went out and had a new one installed by the subaru mechanic, havent noticed till this year that it has been not working, I called them they said it could be in transmission but never told me what part in the transmission it would be any Ideas? thank you

Any fault with AWD should be related to the transfer section. It could be the transfer clutch. Whatever it is, you need a proper diagnostic to find out.
