Just had my 1995 Subaru legacy ls model tuned up. Had the brakes checked, which were done not too long ago and they were fine. They replaced the front axles, cv joints, did an alignment. Got new tires, factory size. Now at low speeds under 15 miles per hour, it makes a whoop, whoop, whoop sound that it didn't make before, from the front end, it's hard to tell what side the sound is coming from. I was told the tech test drove it and said everything was good to go. When I left they and discovered this, it was too late to take it back. So, if you could provide me with a little insight as to what it could be, I'd really appreciate it.

First its not too late. But the sooner taken back the better. That noise could be a bad cv axle or a defective tire. Either way its something they need to address. If you feel like maybe theyre being disengenuine then don't be afraid to get a second opinion. On that note, if they've put in new axles and the hub bearings were bad youd get a noise like that but the tech should have caught that on test drive. But were all human and make mistakes. If the whoop whoop whoop frequency increases with vehicle speed then its definitely related to rotating parts like the axles wheels or brakes
