my car was leaking oil in may and then it started overheating. i had the radiator flushed out and even after that it still would overheat after a short drive on the road. when i look in the coolant tank it is full of sludge which contains oil in it. i have been told the engine needs to be decarbed or that a gasket is blown but could it be a radiator problem?

yes, but you need to have it removed and acid flushed.

if it is oil, then yes, you have another issue, possible a blown head gasket
