How come the radiator fan doesn't work? We already checked the fan and it works when we wire it to the battery. And we also replaced the temperature switch. Also the engine starts to accelerate by itself and then slows down and shuts off.

Does your a/c clutch kick in when you turn the a/c on?If so does the fan come on then?When you wired to make it come on did you give it power and ground?Also do you have a multimeter if so see ond if the wire with a red stripe has constant ground to the fan motor.
