White smoke usually indicated there is coolant getting into the combustion chamber. Usually, it is the result of a bad head gasket.

Just to add to this one its easy to check if its coolant just rent a chemical head gasket tester from auto zone.You just have to buy the chemical which is about 8.So are you loosing coolant?Does it look like steam and smell sweet the exhaust?Also you torqued the head in the correct pattern two different torque passes and third a torque angle.Also your sure you used a twin cam head gasket and not a single cam gasket.They will both fit on the block because the block is the same for both engines.But the head is differnt i have seen guys do that.Whats the part number for the head gasket you used and the brand of it?
