The transmission will work in all the forward gears but won, t work in reverse could it be the valve body or internal the fluid level is on the full line and the fluid doesn, t smell burnt. Saturn 1995 sl2

Do you have any codes in the computer?Also you could have low line pressure or a loose input shaft nut. You will need a transmission pressure tester to diagnose this problem. The set I have was like 60 and its pretty nice.
