1995 Saturn Sc2 Just Bought This Car Had Hole Radiator Did Hold Coolant

we just bought this car , it had a hole in the radiator and did not hold coolant.OK i changed the radiator with a new one and tested it by drivin it (highway drivin) for about 300 Mi.During that trip it lost a good 2 quarts of oil. why would that be?

look for any leaks. if not, then it is burning the oil internally.
