Engine sounding like a diesel . sounds like timing chain. maybe lifters..dont know. mechanic thinks chain also burning oil like a cloud especially when first rolling warming up . noticed water dripping from tail pipe. whats your diagnosis. am a courier. i dont roll i dont make a living. thanks

Without hearing it and checking some things out i cant tell you what the noise is.When you rev the engine up does it sound like a chain saw?Has anyone removed the valve cover to see if the chain is loose or the timing chain guides are worn?

It could be normal for some water out the tail pipe as long as you dont have steam out the tail pipe.
