1995 Pontiac Sunfire blower motor not working

there is no power to my variable switch for the blower motor. i have changed the resistor card and checked the blower direct hook up to battery and it works. used a meter to check for power at the variable switch and at the resister card no power. am now at a loss. please help

you only need a test light to test for power at tresistor which should be in center of dash. the relay for blower on high is lh center of firewall. there are two fuses one under hood for blower an done in dash for hvac unit.
