ABS light and screeching noise when starting car

95 sunfire - abs light on and car makes a loud screeching noise when you try and start the ignition

Check to make sure the belt is tight and in good condition. As far as the light, you need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.

Loud screech is most likely starter drive gear slipping. Change it(disassemble starter and replace) or replace starter.
ABS light usually means bad wheel sensor. Wire broke or sensor defective.
