Just changed fuel pump on 1995 pontiac grand prix, it will start and run fine until you put it in gear than dies. Any help

Any applicable trouble codes? How long since an overall tune-up? What are the fuel pressure specs, use a fuel pressure gage. Sounds to me like it is running lean for some reason?
