car is bucking

I have a 95 pontiac grand am, v6. It recently started bucking when going uphill. This has gradually escaladed to bucking while trying to maintain speed (usually around 50 mph). The fluids are good. It has new spark plugs and wires as well as a new air filter.

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up??

Could be one of the following below -check and test:

Oxygen sensors.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
