How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage.

Has been a little while since I done tune up its my second car so it doesn't get driven very often there are no trouble codes coming up I have a diagnostic key for it and nothing is popping up I thought about the fuel pump also but I can go from 0-70 mph without any hesitation as long as i'm flooring it when it starts acting like its running out of gas I can floor it and it picks back up

My thinking was, when you get on it, the tranny may be downshifting out of od. Normal it stays in od. All I can do is make suggestions. I can't tell much from where I sit.
