door handles

1995 OLDSMOBILE SILHOUETTE

I have a 95 Silhouette and both outside door handles do not work but the doors open from the inside. Do I replace just the handles? If so then how? One of the handles is loose and flopping while the other looks broken where it is attached to van.

It could be the control rods inside that connect the handles. you need to remove the trim panels and have a look.
