Coolant Reservoir overflows, temp gage pings out, Had replaced water pump and I have a replacement thermostat but can't find where it is on the engine to do it.

follow the top hose coming from the radiator until it stops at the engine,that is the thermostat housing, should have two or three bolts, remove them then remove the housing and there will be your thermostat
