What would cause excessive fuel consumption, 50 miles less to 15 gallon tank?

Hard to say where its coming from, start by giving it a major tune-up and go from there

Already changed, plugs wires, ignition coil,air filter, fuel filter. Wondering if the digital EGR Valve would trip the check engine light, if it wasn't working properly

The EGR valve will trigger the CEL if there's a problem on it-
