1995 Nissan Sunny Clutch Engages Still Select Gear Troubles Whilst You Release

Clutch engages and can still select gear with no troubles BUT whilst in gear you can still release the clutch and rev but wont move. Any ideas?

Either the clutch has failed or the drivetrain is bad or CV shaft is dislodged/bad.

Thought it was the clutch. Ill replace it and see

For the clutch to fail, it should have shown signs of slipping prior to it giving way.

No signs were shown. It just stopped moving when in gear

If that is the case, it miight be the clutch that is bad. I would suggest checking the driveaxles first. They are easier to do and mostly visible.
