I found on the back side of the plenum on my 95 nissan pathfinder XE 4wd that there is what appears to be a vaccum line missing. when you plug it off with your finder the idle slows a little bit. I do not know where the line goes to and what it will affect. is it something important and would this affect anything on the motor or gas mileage or anything? i have a pic included (i did not take the pic but have an arrow pointing to what im talking about)

look around the area for a loose vacuum line. it is there and needs to be hooked up.

as clean as it is, it was hooked up.

That pic isn't from my vehicle. Any idea of what it goes to and does I need to be connected or can it be capped off?
