1995 Nissan Cefiro Whilst Stopped Gear Car Jerks Misfiring Transmission Auto

whilst stopped and in gear the car jerks like its misfiring. If transmission (auto) is put into neutral the jerking stops.What could be causing this. This is a second hand motor replacement due to a blown head gasket. This problem did not happen with the original motor
