My daughter's 95 altima meter(dash gauges and lights) fuse keeps blowing out, then alternator stops charging the battery, a mechanic said it could be a short in torque converter, but there is no tranny problem. Are torque conveter and dash lights and gauges on the same electrical circuit? Could it be a short in ignition switch?

THEY ARE SHOWING BOTH GAUGE CLUSTER AND CLUSTER ILLUMINATION ON 2 SEPARATE DIAGRAMS

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE---I'LL ATTEMPT TO GET THE RIGHT ONES

ALSO LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN READ THIS ONE---I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WILL LOOK ONCE I POST IT--I MAY REQUEST YOUR EMAIL IN "MESSAGES" (WHICH I WILL HAVE TO INITIATE) SO THAT YOU DON'T DISPLAY IT IN OPEN FORUM

I FIGURE IF YOU OR YOUR MECHANIC HAS THE DIAGRAM(S)---SURELY YOU CAN SEE "WHAT" MIGHT BE IN THE SAME CIRCUIT---WITH THE BLOWING FUSE(S)
