Please tell me how to adjust valves engine?

Engine is equipped with hydraulic lash adjusters (HLA),
no adjustment of valves required.

If it is noisy, some of the HLA are faulty and you can either service or replace them.

EXC. MODELS W/AUTO-LASH ADJUSTERS

Ensure engine is at normal operating temperature.
Position No. 1 cylinder at TDC of compression stroke to adjust intake valve Nos. 1 and 2 and exhaust valve Nos. 1 and 3. Loosen nut and adjust intake valves to .006 inch and exhaust valves to .010 inch.
Tighten nut. After nut has been tightened, ensure valve clearances are correct.
Position No. 4 cylinder to TDC of compression stroke to adjust intake valve Nos. 3 and 4 and exhaust valve Nos. 2 and 4. Loosen nut and adjust intake valves to .006 inch and exhaust valves to .010 inch.
Tighten nut. After nut has been tightened, ensure valve clearances are correct.

MODELS W/AUTO-LASH ADJUSTERS
Engines equipped with auto-lash adjusters do not require periodic adjustment.
