1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Hi This Only Occurs S Been Raining Starts

Hi, this problem only occurs when it's been raining, it starts and idles ok but when you try to accelerate the car judders. It will only accelerate by easing off the throttle and then very lightly depressing the pedal. After about 5 minutes of this the problems disappears. Please can you help?
