how can i know if the trasmission speed sensor is the correct one

since i had this car the transmission didnt work, well some guys changed it but now they are telling me that they cant find the trasmission speed sensor, so i ask them for the part from the other tranny but its been about 3 yers since they took the old one well they dont have anything, so i was wondering if you can help me to find the correct part.

you will need to contact the dealer with vin number and tire size. they will get you the correct gear. it is a gear inside the housing for the speed sensor that is incorrect.

You sure you're not talking about the vehicle speed sensor or the A/T fluid temperature sensor-looked it up there's no tranny speed sensor. What is the code that's popping up on the TCM?
