Hi assuming you have no oil pressure then i would think rockers ticking possible valve adjustment due.could even be a bad rocker

The hydraulic lash adjustes are the culprit. This engine is know to have such problems and to eliminate the problem, you need to replace or service the HLAs.

Lubrication plays an important part in such HLA and synthetic oil are never good for them.
