oil leak stop products

Have substantial leak from major oil seal on 95 Villager. Will stop leak canned product make a difference?

Stop leaks work by swelling the seal, this will slow it down for a bit, but it will also affect all other seals as well, they will get soft and start to leak, i recommend that these are not used, it will be cheaper to fix the seal correctly.
