First: I'm contacting you for my stranded brother. That's why I haven't all the details about the car like transmission, etc. I know this is an odd way to ask a question but he hasn't a smart phone or internet access where he is stranded, in the middle of northern Texas.
He can get the parts, etc, and is a whiz at car repairs, but isn't at his home, and has limited tools.
He needs to know how to best access the fuel pump to replace it. Does it require removal of gas tank (which is full since he was traveling). He doesn't have access to a lift where he is.
If you can't help, I understand, but thought I'd give it a try.
I've spent 45 minutes online trying, using umpteen search phrases, to locate how to replace, where is it located, access to fuel pump for this model, etc. to no avail.
