AM Radio is crackly unless I push on dashboard; what can I do to make it play clear?

Whenever I play the AM radio in the car, its very crackly unless I press on the radio or the dash beneath the radio with considerable pressure. Is there something loose that I can tighten? (FM plays just fine.)

Check to make sure the ground at the top or rear of the radio is tight. Also, make sure the antenna wire is fully installed and not loose.
