my Mercury cougar motor shakes while driving and idling? What could be wrong, any suggestings. Thank you.It shakes more while driving the car.

You sure its not misfiring/hesitating-wheel alignment/suspension/tires bad? Inspect all engine and transmission mounts-start here

sounds like you have some misfiring cylinders. have a tuneup done.
