Launch start like a stall converter, only no stall converter on vehicle.

When at a stop, the cat has to rev over 3000 rpm a few times before it launches like it has a stall converter. It barks the rear wheels with no transmission slip. It doesn't matter if the shifter is in drive or low. The fluid is pink with no burnt smell. Reverse works fine. If I ride the brakes at a stop sign and keep the revs over 1500 rpm, the car will take off without going through the high rev launch [tough on brakes]. Once moving, the car shifts fine, whether in town or highway. I took it for an hour drive, it drove and shifted fine without rpm surge or slip in cruise control. Again, no burnt smell after the drive.

Sounds like a seal failure in the trans for the front clutch. Have it checked to verify
