How do I replace poly-V-belt

Car died while driving. The charge indicator was on for about 35 miles while driving,replaced battery but light is still on, was told that the poly-V- belt may be broken.

Its a gas engine, I use chevron supreme gas

Its a 4 stroke engine, 4 cylinders, Bore 3.54 in, stroke 3.41
