my car got wet because it had no hood now the car starts and runs for about 4 minutes then it slowly starts to die what could be wrong with it??? If I try to drive it , it eventually just shuts off. Lights and radio work on the car.. Could there be water in the motor , the weather is cold also so i dont know if there is any water if it froze !! Ugh...

When water gets to engine components, it can cause a lot of problem.

You need to get the electriccal and ignition components dry or else it is going to stall or misfire all the way.
