My right headlight had gone out. The two metal leads going into the headlight were burnt but the filament itself was unharmed. I replaced the bulb and it came on and then shortly went out again. I believe it may be a short. I was curious how to diagnose and treat that. Thanks

Try cleaning the metal leads that power the light with sand paper so it makes a good connection. Let me know if that helps.
