Has no power even when you push gas peddle to the floor. Replaced throtle position sensor, no change. Exhaust Manifold glowing red. Could it be the catalytic converter? How do I check that?

There is a bad misfiring and excessive fuel is getting to the catalytic converter causing it to glow red hot.

Have you checked the basics, spark plugs, wires etc?

I just now read your answer, but you were right. The wiring diagram for the spark plug wires was totally different then the way the truck was wired. No diagram I could find anywhere matched to the way I ended up wiring them. Thanks for the answer.
