The hinge that connects the lid/armrest to the center console box has snapped and I'm unsure as to how i remove the broken hinge from the console and the lid also.
I'm assuming the lid you just unscrew and screw the new one back in but then how do i get the hinge into the actual console?
Do i need to remove the console or just the inner box and how?

Our databse does not have any information on replacement of this item and it has been a very long time since I last handled this problem so hopefully I can still help you to get it resolved.

For the lid, yes, removing the screws and pulling out the inner cover would allow you to reinstall the new hinge. As to the one on the rear console body, you need to remove the consloe which should be held by 2 bolts inside the console. Look at bottom and look for a cover if there is any. Pry out the cover and you should be able to see the bolts At front end of the console, somewhere just behind the corner ogf the seats, look for 2 screws, one on each side of the console and remove them. You should be able to take the console out.

If possible, send me a picture of the complete console to refresh my mind.
