while diving my car and sometimes just coasting it bogs down and loses power but never dies.. when accelerating it acts like it has no power and takes a while to regain power almost like its outta gas.. can you please give some advice i just bought this car, its mechanically sound, I've been using premium unleaded, gotten an oil change, the previous owner said she had gotten the spark plugs changed 2 years ago..she also claimed that the car has never done that when she did drive it which wasn't much...should I start with the fuel filter? Is there a way to check it? And where would it be located on this car?

scan for codes and check fuel pressure first.
