What would make my lexus flood out

Car gave no warning. drove fine to the store and I got ready to return home I tried to start car and it would only turn over and then I smelled
fuel. Got it pulled home the next day i changed spark plugs and tried to start car again, the same thing happen it like to much fuel is coming out,would it be the Ecu or the fuel regulator.Help

sounds like regulator. remove vac hose and see if it is full of gas.
